Trendy Mermaid Beach villas take luxury to new heights

1 & 2/8 Albatross Ave, Mermaid Beach

1 & 2/8 Albatross Ave, Mermaid Beach Villas are two new luxury listings on the market.

Additionally, the industrial-style design is carried throughout the interior of the villas. The statement Blackbutt timber stairs and marble kitchen benchtops with a prominent grey vein are just two examples of the bold and considered material choices made by Studio Workshop, the architects responsible for the villas. Furthermore, the impressive rooftop terraces with stunning views are the highlight of the properties, providing an unparalleled experience for residents.

The kitchens are sleek and sophisticated.

The statement stairs.

In addition to the industrial-style design and luxurious living on display, the properties offer stunning beach views from their rooftops. According to Studio Workshop director Joel Hutchines, who developed the properties, the location is a major selling point. “The position is massive,” he said. “Really that is the last block with those views that go down the Miami Esplanade. Plus, the proximity to the beach, cafes and Nobbys — which is where it is at.”

The homes have an industrial vibe, according to Mr Hutchines. He added that the impressive rooftop terraces, which offer stunning views, were the best part of the villas. “The rooftops on both properties are amazing, it’s what sets them apart from what has been on the market,” he said. “When you get up there, the views and experience are very appealing.”

In terms of the interior, he said that Studio Workshop places emphasis on materials and textures, resulting in a sleek and sophisticated blend of finishes. From the statement Blackbutt timber stairs to the marble kitchen benchtops with a prominent grey vein, each material was a bold and considered choice.

A plunge pool is part of the package.

Marble is on show throughout.

Originally, the facade was supposed to be timber, but instead, aluminium was used to guarantee low maintenance and a long lifespan. According to Mr Hutchines, Studio Workshop has emphasized the use of raw materials to achieve a natural feel. The front screen, which is a unique feature, is a topic of conversation among everyone. It is something very different for the Gold Coast as the buildings often look the same. The screen breaks it down and creates street presence that is not too imposing.

A blissful beach lifestyle.

A stylish living room.

Both of the villas features four bedrooms, three opulent bathrooms, a sun-drenched rooftop and a plunge pool. The floorplans sprawl across four levels and 456sq m.

The rooftops are dedicated to the terraces, which both have a built-in barbecue. Two main bedrooms with two bathrooms are on the third level of each.

On the uppermost floor of these four-bedroom abodes lies a dreamy bedroom. Moving down to the second floor, you’ll find the stylish kitchens and dining rooms, complete with a balcony and a funky built-in seat, as well as the main living rooms. On the ground floor of both, you will find a terrace, pool, two bedrooms, one bathroom, and the garage. Additionally, the entrances boast impressive staircases with voids stretching the height of the four levels.

These luxurious abodes, each with a price tag of $2.295 million, are being marketed by Jordan Williams of JW Prestige Agents.

" I met Jordan at a local gym we go to and from their I formed a relationship with him, and I liked the way he held himself and thought he'd be great to sell our home. Jordan is trust worthy, honest and direct, he was punctual with everything he did and he doesn't beat around the bush, many agents tell you one thing and do another, and that's what I liked about him. " We called several local agents, basically all that had "For Sale" signs in our suburb. We had meetings and interviews, we were told that we were in a "difficult market" and that our price expectation was probably too high. Open house inspections were advocated by all agents (we did not want) and auction was suggested by a few (also did not want). Jordan Williams had recently sold a friend's house, she was very enthusiastic that we meet with him. He was located in a distant suburb, a relatively new, one-man agency. He told us that our price was high, but he would get very close, he said he was totally happy with "Inspection By Appointment" and that his job was to sell our house with the least inconvenience and disruption to us. we signed with him after our 60 minute meeting. Well, we were on the market for 3 months, every one of the 12 inspections resulted in an offer and our sale was negotiated to within 5% of our asking. Our satisfaction with Jordan Williams is 100%. Totally recommend this boutique agency! "
