The Gold Coast is a place where you find yourself outdoors. You can't help but want to be in this beautiful environment. I love surfing more than anything else, I just love starting the day in the ocean. The clarity here is just pristine! It doesn't matter what the size of the waves are it's just a really beautiful, stimulating way to start the day.
I've lived on the Gold Coast for fifteen years now, one place I never tire of is Broadbeach. There's a real flavour and culture that's imerged in the town. It's now about discovering the little nooks and crannies of Broadbeach, there's some wonderful cafes, there's some great restaurants, there's a range of dining from your standard steakhouse right through to fine dining with selebrity chefs. It's really evolving, great five-star hotels plus Pacific Fair which is undergoing a six hundred plus million dollar redevelopment.
Also the casino is there, they've recently opened a new Japanese restaurant, it is fantastic. There's not many places in the world where you can find such great restaurants literally walking distance from beautiful fine white sand and crystal clear water.
If you haven't been to Broadbeach for a while then you have to come back here because it's a really exciting time.
